This place used to be Alford's when I was a kid. My son is used to big markets like HEB and Target. I had to stop by while I was in town and show him the old grocery store. Still had the same feel and everybody was nice.

Market Baskets are a staple in the area. The employees are friendly and helpful. They may not be a big box store like wal-mart but they always have whatever I am looking for. The deli also has plate lunches that are delicious.

This is an amazing place for a first job and shopping everyone there is very accepting and kind miss Melinda was my favorite manager she was always willing to help anyone and everyone with anything I’d give it 5 stars for just her alone she was an awesome trainer and taught me things that I still carry with me in my current job I will forever recommend anyone that’s looking for a first job to go here!!

Very friendly, oh the manager talk about kind hearted. He once help me with my grocery I recently moved to Texas it's been 4 months. I been going to market basket and the price is very reasonable I must say I would highly recommend that market basket to anyone...

I went Sunday morning around 11 a.m. for a quick errand run and got pretty lost. Luckily the cashier, Zoey, noticed that I was getting anxious walking around in circles and happily pointed me in the right direction. She made the experience of shopping very good, as I have major social anxiety.

Fast and super friendly...they really shine with their various well staffed service departments. Their meats are great, bakery makes the best cakes and the deli always has something good to eat ready to go at the steamtable. With their loyalty card the prices are not so unreasonable, however this is not H-E-B or Walmart, as far as prices or selection is concerned, however, it is locally owned and awesome to have down the street.

Located near by, will deliver to my home whereas be HEB only offers curbside pickup for this area in of town even though numerous stores are located locally. The atmosphere is family oriented. The staff knows their regular customers by sight and treat us as such. The moment you enter the store you are greeted, never hassled, but someone is always nearby at your service. The variety is incredible for both hot meals and store items. Great neighborhood market with down home feeling.

The meat is always fresh the vegetables always fresh, the place is always clean, and the workers are friendly and helpful. Also, I only live with in a few blocks of the store so it’s convenient.
